Main Services

The G-1 Gas Technician course provides advanced training for experienced professionals working with commercial and industrial gas-fired equipment. Topics include installation, servicing, troubleshooting, combustion systems, controls, venting, applicable gas codes, and workplace safety.

The G2 Gas Technician Exam Preparation course provides training for individuals working toward their Gas Technician 2 licence. Students learn gas fundamentals, appliance installation and servicing, piping, venting, combustion, controls, regulators, pressure testing, troubleshooting, applicable code requirements, and workplace safety. This course is designed to help eligible applicants prepare for the G2 licensing pathway and required Gas Board examination.

The PPO-2 Propane Plant Operator course prepares individuals to safely operate and maintain propane storage and distribution facilities. Training covers propane properties, product transfer, storage systems, plant equipment, emergency procedures, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety.

ICE-P
Intended for mechanics who convert engines to propane or service propane powered engines. Content covers fundamentals of propane, propane storage and transfer, ignition and propane, propane equipment as well as basic wiring and fuel management. Prerequisites are a mechanics license or equivalent.

ICE-IV-P
Intended for technicians who convert, service, and maintain industrial vehicles such as forklifts and ice machines. This course is also used for certification and licensing for technicians who service propane powered stationary engines (generators).
There are no prerequisites required.

The ICE-NG Natural Gas Internal Combustion Technician course prepares mechanics to convert, service, and maintain natural gas-powered engines. Training covers natural gas fundamentals, fuel storage and transfer, ignition systems, fuel-management equipment, and applications for road and industrial vehicles. A mechanics licence or equivalent qualification is required.

The ICE-IV-NG Intended for technicians who convert, service, and maintain industrial vehicles such as forklifts and ice machines. This course is also used for certification and licensing for technicians who service natural gas-powered stationary engines (generators).
There are no prerequisites required.
